Not sure dry needling is right for you?

01 — Dry Needling

Dry needling is based on the treatment of trigger points and knots with acupuncture needles. It is perfect for chronic and acute pain related to muscular issues. The session focuses on the area where your pain starts and helps to release the muscles related to that area to create balance. It differs from acupuncture in that the focus is on musculoskeletal trigger points. Unlike acupuncture the needles are not retained and the practitioner will be with you the entire session releasing each area.

Dry needling is a more focused , active and very effective treatment that accomplishes what a deep tissue massage can do in a fraction of the time with more lasting results. The first visit takes 60-75 min and the return length are dependent on need. Your provider will help you determine the correct session length for your follow-up. The initial & longer sessions can include neuromuscular re-education in the form gua sha, manual therapy or cupping as needed to fully integrate the treatment.

03 — Manual therapy Add-on

Massage, Cupping and Gua Sha are manual therapy techniques that relieve pain and stiffness by promoting blood flow, breaking up adhesions, and unwinding myofascial patterns. These treatments are available as an add on to your acupuncture appointments. Consult with your provider to chose the best add-on.
