Dr. Amy Thornton LAc.

Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
Licensed Acupuncturist | Dry Needling Specialist | Chronic Pain Educator

Dr. Amy has been engaged in the healing arts since 2003, beginning as a holistic health practitioner and massage therapist. Over time, she realized that bodywork alone wasn’t enough for the kinds of transformation her clients needed — so she dove deeper.

She holds a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science and earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Since 2018, she has specialized in orthopedic acupuncture and dry needling for chronic pain.

Dr. Amy is also a health educator with a deep knowledge of pain neuroscience and a talent for making complex ideas easy to understand. She brings a grounded presence, a sense of humor, and an open mind to every session.

Her practice is inclusive and trauma-informed. She is LGBTQIA+, kink, and polyamory knowledgeable, and welcomes people from all walks of life. She values the relationships she builds with her patients and feels honored to be part of their healing journey.
